Remote Pulmonary Rehab Therapist

Overview

The Remote Pulmonary Rehab Therapist plays a pivotal role in supporting patients enrolled in our pulmonary rehabilitation program. The role focuses on providing pulmonary rehabilitation and therapeutic programming, as well as helping patients navigate through the program through goal setting, progression tracking, and providing education and guidance on healthy lifestyles.

• Fully remote position for a Pulmonary Rehab Therapist.
• Part-time schedule of 15-20 hours per week.
• Compensation is $20 for 30 min sessions and $30 for 60 min sessions.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team for patient care.
• Conduct comprehensive health assessments and monitor patient progress.
• Provide education on health, nutrition, and lifestyle modifications.
• Utilize behavioral coaching techniques to support patients.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient assessments and progress.
• Requires 3+ years of experience in a clinical or rehabilitation setting.
• Must hold relevant certifications such as BLS, CPFT, CRT, or RRT.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in respiratory care or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience working with pulmonary patients.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of pulmonary disease management and behavior change techniques.
• Empathy and patience for patients with physical and emotional challenges.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
