Content Editor - Content Hub (6 Month FTC) - Remote

Overview

We are looking for a Content Editor to join on a 6 month fixed term contract to our new and exciting Content Hub, to bring social news content to the entire Reach network.

In Short

• Organise and manage the publishing of fresh, engaging and accurate content.
• Brief team of reporters to deliver great content including words, pictures, video, and data.
• Launch live blogs for big stories and maintain audience momentum.
• Ensure compelling content on website and social media channels.
• Focus on growing loyal audience through newsletters and engaging content.
• Support and guide team daily, weekly, and monthly.
• Work with various brands including Daily Mirror, Express, and regional titles.
• Contribute to the strategy of audience growth and engagement.
• Flexible working basis considered for applications.
• Home-based role open to candidates across the UK.

Requirements

• NCTJ qualified or equivalent journalist with media law knowledge.
• Strong track record of engaging storytelling.
• Excellent accuracy and attention to detail.
• People management skills to guide and encourage team.
• Social media savvy with understanding of digital audience behavior.
• Able to create and edit accurate copy under deadlines.
