System Administrator - Remote

Overview

RESPEC is seeking a highly experienced System Administrator to support federal clients by maintaining and optimizing mission-critical EHR systems and their infrastructure.

In Short

• Provide Tier II/III technical support and mentor junior staff.
• Administer Microsoft and Linux operating systems.
• Plan, install, test, troubleshoot, and maintain Windows and cloud infrastructure.
• Manage backup and recovery operations.
• Perform system patching and performance tuning.
• Administer and maintain VMware environments.
• Implement physical security controls for data centers.
• Utilize DCIM tools and monitoring systems.
• Develop automation scripts using various languages.
• Enforce security policies to protect systems and data.

Requirements

• Associate degree or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of IT experience, with 3+ years in server/data center environments.
• Experience with federal IT systems is preferred.
• Eligibility for federal suitability clearance.
• Experience with federal EHR platforms is a plus.
