System Administrator - Remote

Overview

LiveU is looking for a System Administrator to join their IT team, handling various aspects of the company's IT including onboarding processes, network, servers, cloud infrastructures, and security systems.

In Short

• Install, configure, and maintain Windows and Linux servers.
• Manage virtual machines, storage systems, and backups.
• Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 support to users – on-site and remotely.
• Set up and onboard new employees with the required equipment and access.
• Troubleshoot issues across networks, systems, and applications.
• Support firewall and switch configurations and troubleshooting.
• Monitor infrastructure and systems performance (servers, network, endpoints).
• Maintain and administer IT assets, inventory, and documentation.
• Ensure IT security policies are followed during support and system tasks.
• Support Active Directory, Office 365, VPN, and MDM environments.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of hands-on IT experience, including both support and system admin tasks.
• Strong knowledge of Windows Environment, Active Directory, and Office 365.
• Solid understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, etc.).
• Experience with virtualization (VMware).
• Fluent in English – spoken and written.
• Excellent problem-solving and customer service skills.
• Experience with Linux systems – advantage.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, OCI) – advantage.
