Senior Engagement Manager - Remote

Overview

The Rackspace Senior Engagement Manager will manage several individual but related projects to the required standard of quality within the specified constraints of time and cost for the customer. The projects are typically medium to large, with medium complexity, and have high risk exposure. Ensures the coherence of the Program and develops and maintains the appropriate environment to support each individual project within it. Responsible for the program producing a result which is capable of achieving the benefits defined in the Statement of Work. Responsible for adhering to company security policies and procedures and any other relevant policies and standards as directed.

• Develop project plans, define timeframes, prioritize tasks and monitor progress to achieve objectives.
• Manage customers, aligning business objectives with coordinated service deliveries.
• Provide guidance on best service utilization and act as an escalation point for issues.
• Create monthly and quarterly business reports demonstrating service value.
• Collaborate with cloud engineers on backlog grooming and seek new work opportunities.
• Lead root cause analysis efforts for customer engagement issues.
• Coordinate stakeholder perspectives to develop solutions.
• Conduct presentations in executive settings.
• Identify data collection methods and perform data analyses.
• Manage multiple tasks with constrained resources and competing priorities.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience.
• Certifications: Project Management Professional, Certified Scrum Master, or SAFe.
• Solid understanding of SDLC and methodologies.
• Knowledge of data reporting using PowerPoint and Excel.
• Customer-facing consulting experience.
• Familiarity with cloud technologies and security.
• At least one cloud platform foundational certification preferred (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Technical background in software development or engineering.
• Self-starter with a proactive management approach.
