Professional Services Delivery Engineer III/IV - Remote

Overview

The Professional Services Delivery Engineer III/IV will be responsible for automating deployments on AWS, architecting best practices, and educating customers on cloud solutions.

In Short

• Automate deployments utilizing custom templates and modules for customer environments on AWS.
• Architect AWS environment best practices and deployment methodologies.
• Create automation tools and processes to improve day-to-day functions.
• Educate customers on AWS and Rackspace best practices and architecture.
• Ensure control and accessibility of the cloud environment for the enterprise.
• Lead workload management and optimization tasks.
• Assist Rackers across the Cloud Function.

Requirements

• 7-12 years of experience in a related field.
• Near expert knowledge of AWS Products & Services.
• Proficient in at least one programming language (Python, Linux, Shell scripting).
• Excellent knowledge of Windows or Linux operating systems.
• Highly skilled in Terraform/IaC and CI/CD practices.
• Working knowledge of Kubernetes.
• Experience in designing and troubleshooting highly available systems.
• Knowledge of configuration management systems (Chef, Ansible, Puppet).
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent required.
