Professional Services Engineer - Remote

Overview

As a Professional Services Engineer at GitLab, you will engage with customers to provide installation, migration, training, and advisory services, ensuring they achieve their goals effectively with the GitLab platform.

In Short

• Engage with customers using a consultative approach.
• Deliver on Statements of Work (SOW) with guidance from technical architects.
• Provide technical training sessions remotely and/or on-site.
• Document and implement improvements for engagement processes.
• Support engagement managers on quoting and scoping of SOWs.
• Contribute to documentation and workflows tailored to customer needs.
• Interface with GitLab Product/Engineering teams for customer success.
• Manage installations and migrations for various customer environments.
• Encourage the use of AI in workflows for efficiency.
• May require travel (up to 20%).

Requirements

• Experience with IaC/CaC technologies like Terraform, Ansible, etc.
• Familiarity with cloud providers such as AWS, GCP, and Azure.
• Proficient in English, both written and verbal.
• Experience using or configuring GitLab.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, remote environment.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Self-motivated and solution-oriented mindset.
• Ability to thrive in a fully remote organization.
