Overview

We are seeking a Professional Services Delivery Engineer IV to deliver Private Cloud Engineering consulting services into Rackspace’s Enterprise and SME clients.

In Short

• Deliver consulting services for Private Cloud Engineering.
• Strong hands-on technical skills required.
• Experience in engineering roles for automated private cloud solutions.
• Involvement in technical discussions from architecture to coding.
• Designing, automating, and deploying services for VMware Cloud customers.
• Working on various VMware projects including migration and automation.
• Writing infrastructure as code using vRealize Automation.
• Managing customer SLAs and communication.
• Configuring and maintaining storage and backup systems.
• Participating in agile delivery models in a team environment.

Requirements

• 8+ years in development or infrastructure operations.
• Strong Managed Private Cloud knowledge.
• Experience with cloud native approaches and networking.
• Understanding of PaaS, IaaS, and cloud components.
• Experience with DevOps methodologies and CI/CD tools.
• VMware Technologies expertise.
• Microsoft Windows or Linux system administration experience.
• Knowledge of storage, backup, databases, and caching layers.
