Data Scientist - AzureML/SageMaker - Remote

Overview

Rockwell Automation is seeking a Data Scientist to collaborate with engineers and product managers to develop predictive maintenance models and improve manufacturing processes using advanced machine learning techniques.

In Short

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to build predictive maintenance models.
• Work on anomaly detection, quality control, and forecasting use cases.
• Design and implement scalable ETL pipelines and ML workflows.
• Develop and deploy time-series models for forecasting and anomaly detection.
• Apply classical machine learning techniques to solve business problems.
• Contribute to model monitoring and performance tuning.
• 2–5 years of experience in data science or machine learning roles.
• Proficiency in Python, SQL, and ML libraries.
• Experience with cloud ML platforms like AzureML and SageMaker.
• Work in a hybrid model with an expectation to be on-site at least three days a week.

Requirements

• Strong understanding of time-series modeling and forecasting techniques.
• Hands-on experience with classical ML algorithms.
• Experience building and maintaining ETL pipelines.
• Familiarity with BI tools and MLOps frameworks is a plus.
• Ability to translate business requirements into data science solutions.
• Experience working in Linux environments is preferred.
