VP of Materials Sourcing & Procurement - Remote

Overview

We are looking for a strategic and hands-on VP of Materials Sourcing & Procurement to lead our Tier 2 (and above) supply chain across raw materials and components for our growing assortment.

• Lead global sourcing strategies for materials.
• Identify, evaluate, and onboard Tier 2/Tier 3 material suppliers.
• Assess geopolitical risks and sustainability impacts.
• Build enduring relationships with suppliers.
• Lead creation of cleansheet/should-cost models.
• Establish cost targets and negotiate pricing.
• Ensure quality standards across material categories.
• Drive technology adoption for procurement processes.

• Build and lead a global materials sourcing team.

Requirements

• 15+ years of experience in global sourcing or procurement.
• Expertise in managing materials supply chains.
• Proven track record in cost reduction and quality management.
• Strong experience in cleansheet cost modeling.
• Ability to analyze data for optimizing strategies.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Experience in multiple international markets.
• Bachelor's degree required; MBA preferred.
