Sourcing Specialist - Buying/Procurement - Remote

Overview

The Sourcing Specialist will manage resources and activities required for the completion of the production plan, focusing on logistics, sourcing, and expediting to support manufacturing.

In Short

• Manage logistics and sourcing activities for production.
• Interface with planners and external suppliers for material scheduling.
• Assess supply chain capabilities based on customer requests.
• Drive key sourcing initiatives and provide regular updates.
• Resolve material receipt issues with the Warehouse.
• Handle invoicing and customs issues with on-site personnel.
• Trigger purchase order placements and manage procurement follow-ups.
• Assist in developing recovery plans for defective goods.
• Communicate operational vendor-related issues to impacted departments.
• Work in a hybrid model with two days remote and three days in the office.

Requirements

• Business or Technical University or College degree.
• Experience in materials management, preferably in metal/heavy industry.
• Familiarity with Oracle or other ERP systems.
• Fluent in Hungarian and English.
• Team player attitude.
• Demonstrated skill in formal problem-solving processes.
• Self-driven personality with a can-do attitude.
