Procurement Specialist - Remote

Overview

As a Procurement Specialist, you will play a crucial role in our procurement team, responsible for reviewing reports, analyzing inventory and sales data, and drafting purchasing needs to ensure the efficient and cost-effective acquisition of inventory.

• Maintain accurate inventory records to track stock levels and identify purchasing needs.
• Analyze sales numbers and trends to determine procurement requirements.
• Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, and new products.
• Compare product deliveries with issued purchase orders to identify discrepancies.
• Generate and issue purchase orders accurately and timely.
• Monitor delivery schedules and address any delays or issues.
• Communicate price discrepancies between purchase orders and the system to stakeholders.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain management.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting.
• Familiarity with Microsoft database and Office applications.
• Exceptional analytical skills with high accuracy and attention to detail.
• Experience with NetSuite is preferred but not required.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
