Financial Controller - Remote

Overview

As a Financial Controller at Quidax, you will be the financial backbone of the company, ensuring accurate financial reporting and compliance while helping to scale the business across borders.

In Short

• Deliver monthly consolidated financial reports by the 10th working day of the month.
• Lead the annual budgeting process and update forecasts quarterly.
• Maintain compliance with tax, audit, and regulatory requirements.
• Review and optimize the finance stack including QuickBooks and crypto tracking.
• Implement system/process improvements quarterly.
• Manage and mentor a finance team for on-time reporting.
• Oversee treasury, payroll, taxes, and payments.
• Conduct regular reviews of financial performance.
• Work cross-functionally with other teams.
• Stay informed about cryptocurrency regulations and accounting practices.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in financial management, preferably in fintech or crypto.
• Professional accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CPA, or equivalent).
• Experience managing audits and financial operations.
• Deep knowledge of IFRS or US GAAP.
• Proficient in Excel, QuickBooks, and ERP systems.
• Experience leading a team and mentoring.
• Comfortable with tax and compliance in multi-jurisdiction setups.
• Familiarity with cryptocurrency is a plus.
• Bonus for building or scaling financial systems.
