As the Lead Financial Crime for Austria at Qonto, you will develop robust processes to combat financial crime in this important expansion market, playing a central role in Qonto's growth strategy.

In Short

  • Implement processes to combat financial crime for the Austrian market.
  • Collaborate with the Austrian Money Laundering Reporting Office (A-FIU) and regulatory authorities.
  • Submit and manage suspicious activity reports with Austrian authorities.
  • Develop and implement policies tailored to the Austrian market.
  • Monitor and optimize performance metrics related to financial crime processes.
  • Be part of Qonto's Central European Financial Crime Team.
  • Work independently in the Austrian market with support from central resources.
  • Opportunity to build processes from scratch and grow with Qonto's expansion.
  • Flexible working arrangement with remote work and quarterly office visits.
  • Your role will significantly contribute to Qonto's customer acquisition in Austria.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years experience in financial crime prevention or regulatory compliance.
  • Strong knowledge of the Austrian regulatory landscape.
  • Fluent in German and excellent English skills.
  • Strong analytical and logical thinking abilities.
  • Proactive approach with hands-on engagement.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to adapt to challenges in a new market.
