Data and Reporting Manager - Remote

Overview

January Capital is seeking an experienced Portfolio Data and Investor Reporting Manager to join our firm remotely from Malaysia. This role reports directly to January Capital's Head of Finance, manages 1 direct report (portfolio reporting analyst), and offers the opportunity to work alongside firm leadership to lead and scale January Capital's data and reporting capabilities through innovative technology solutions.

In Short

• Lead the end-to-end quarterly/half-yearly investor reporting process for funds managed by the firm.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with investment, finance, legal and investor relations teams.
• Review quarterly fund and portfolio returns calculations for internal and external reporting.
• Support investor relations team in drafting/updating collateral and fund-related materials.
• Develop bespoke reporting materials for key limited partners.
• Establish and maintain communication with finance directors of portfolio companies.
• Conduct quarterly financial review calls with portfolio company finance teams.
• Oversee comprehensive data collection and tracking of portfolio key financial metrics.
• Continuously evaluate and enhance existing reporting processes.
• Stay current with AI developments in financial reporting and data analysis.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in business, finance, accounting or related field.
• 8-10+ years of relevant industry experience.
• Expertise in process management and financial planning & data analysis.
• Track record of process improvement and operational efficiency initiatives.
• Strong analytical and financial modeling skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proactive, solutions-oriented approach.
• Adaptability and continuous learning mindset.
• Experience with portfolio reporting platforms preferred.
• Remote work experience with strong relationship management skills.
