Regional Financial Analyst - Remote

Overview

The role of the Regional Financial Analyst is to provide accurate and timely financial information and analyses to local, regional, and executive leadership. Support the implementation of best practices in accounting and reporting and provide oversight of policy compliance and risk management for an assigned territory – predominantly Mexico and South America.

In Short

• Thoroughly review financial submissions for accuracy and completeness.
• Provide timely and accurate financial reports, including regional summaries and analyses.
• Perform financial functions including evaluating, auditing, planning, budgeting, forecasting, and cost control analyses.
• Act as a consultant within assigned territory by partnering with Operations and Finance teams.
• Continuously review local/regional operations for effectiveness of internal controls.
• Collaborate with management and Finance teams to standardize processes.
• Document local processes and procedures in both Spanish and English.
• Complete ad hoc analyses as requested.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
• Five years of experience in accounting and reporting.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
• Knowledge of Mexican/Brazilian accounting standards preferred.
• Strong accounting and financial reporting skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English and Spanish.
• Proficient in MS Office and ERP systems.
• Ability to travel domestically and globally up to 20%.
