IT System Support Specialist - Remote

Overview

The IT System Support Specialist at Performance Systems Integration will provide support for computer systems, servers, phone systems, and networks, ensuring efficient operations and user satisfaction.

In Short

• Troubleshoot and resolve escalated help desk tickets.
• Coordinate troubleshooting with other staff.
• Monitor and process incoming queries in a timely manner.
• Follow up with users to ensure issues are resolved.
• Document resolutions for future reference.
• Provide local and remote user support and training.
• Configure IT equipment for new employees.
• Participate in planning for software and hardware needs.
• Travel to company sites as required.
• Maintain knowledge of network functions and software applications.

Requirements

• Associates degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science or IT.
• Help desk experience preferred.
• CompTIA and Microsoft path preferred.
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable record.
• Knowledge of Microsoft 365, Windows, iOS, and Active Directory.
• Ability to learn industry-specific devices and software.
• Approximately 10% travel required.
