Overview

We are building Protege to solve the biggest unmet need in AI — getting access to the right training data. The process today is time intensive, incredibly expensive, and often ends in failure. The Protege platform facilitates the secure, efficient, and privacy-centric exchange of AI training data.

In Short

• Define, prioritize, and execute the roadmap for Protege’s media business.
• Work with external partners and internal teams to understand pain points.
• Translate abstract problems into actionable engineering work.
• Manage backlog, tradeoffs, and stakeholder communication.
• Ensure data quality aligns with use case needs.
• Contribute to product culture, hiring, and process definition.

Requirements

• 4–7 years of experience in product management.
• Experience PM-ing data-processing solutions.
• Experience in an early-stage startup.
• Ability to work with engineers and data scientists.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Structured thinker who thrives in ambiguity.
• Familiarity with media data and delivery mechanisms.
