Overview

The successful candidate will join Prosper’s Credit Risk Management Department, leveraging advanced analytics tools to develop credit strategies for Prosper’s online marketplace.

In Short

• Develop credit strategies using data and machine learning models
• Innovate solutions for credit risk management
• Design A/B tests and understand risk-return trade-offs
• Forecast losses for Credit Card products
• Collaborate with Product, Marketing, and Engineering teams
• Conduct ad-hoc risk management analyses
• Analyze portfolio performance and identify trends
• Communicate findings to Risk Management and stakeholders
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in relevant fields with 2+ years experience or Master's with less experience for Analyst level
• 5+ years relevant experience for Senior Analyst level
• Experience in managing credit risk and data science in consumer lending
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency in SQL, Python, and Tableau
• Knowledge of R and Knowledge Seeker is a plus
• Strong communication skills
• Knowledge of statistical procedures and financial analytic tools
• Self-starter and comfortable with ambiguity
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
