Overview

ProSidian seeks an Actuarial Assistant II - Actuarial Support (PAS5) to support an engagement for a federally chartered corporation that encourages the continuation and maintenance of voluntary private defined benefit pension plans.

• Support actuarial consulting solutions for multiemployer special financial assistance services.
• Conduct testing and assessments to develop innovative solutions.
• Lead teams in analyzing financial consequences of risk.
• Estimate probabilities and costs related to business decisions.
• Generate reports and present findings to clients.
• Review and update reports for compliance and accuracy.
• Provide coaching to junior staff and manage personal development.

• Engage in special projects related to pension plans and legislation.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Economics, Statistics, or related field.
• 3+ years of relevant consulting or industry experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and statistical modeling software.
• Experience with pension plan data and calculations.
• Actuarial credentials such as ASA, EA, or FSA preferred.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects.
• U.S. Citizenship required.
