Sentara Medical Group is currently offering a Sign on Bonus for qualified Medical Assistants! This is a full-time Float Pool position where the primary work is in Suffolk, Western Tidewater, and Peninsula.

In Short

• Full-time Float Pool Medical Assistant position.
• Work primarily in Suffolk, Western Tidewater, and Peninsula.
• Sign on Bonus available for qualified Medical Assistants.
• Must be either a CMA, CCMA, RMA, or EMT-Basic.
• Standard working hours: Monday through Friday, with 8, 10, or 12-hour shifts.
• Differential pay provided for travel and flexibility.
• Perform patient care and administrative tasks under supervision.
• Active certification required (CMA, CCMA, RMA, or NREMT-Basic).
• BLS certification required within 90 days of hire.
• 1 year of clinical or administrative experience preferred.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
• Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program preferred.
• 1 year of clinical or administrative experience.
• Phlebotomy experience preferred.
• Active CMA, CCMA, RMA, or NREMT-Basic certification required.
• BLS certification required within 90 days of hire.
