Sentara Rockingham Memorial Hospital Orthopedics and Sports Medicine is hiring a Full-Time Athletic Trainer to work with athletic teams at James Madison University, offering a generous sign-on bonus.

In Short

• Full-Time position at James Madison University.
• Multiple shifts available: Mon-Thurs 10a-7p, Fri 10a-5p.
• Occasional weekends required.
• No travel is required.
• Document patient/athlete response to treatment.
• Perform therapeutic interventions.
• Provide effective instruction to patients and families.
• Assist in achieving departmental financial goals.
• Bachelor's degree in Athletic Training or Physical Therapy required.
• Must be a Certified Athletic Trainer (ATC).

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Athletic Training or Physical Therapy.
• Certification as a Certified Athletic Trainer (ATC).
• State License required in state of practice.
• Experience in sports medicine preferred.
• Strong communication and instructional skills.
• Ability to work in a team environment.
