Accounting Onboarding Specialist - Remote

Overview

We’re seeking an Accounting Onboarding Specialist for our Implementation team! This position will ensure a seamless onboarding experience for our clients, setting them up for success with our accounting services.

In Short

• Act as a point of contact for customers during the onboarding process.
• Ensure compliance with Proper's scope of work.
• Gather and review client documentation.
• Troubleshoot issues during the onboarding process.
• Provide guidance to clients on onboarding procedures.
• Collaborate with internal teams for a seamless experience.
• Schedule and lead onboarding meetings.
• Track onboarding progress and milestones.
• Prepare necessary documentation for client onboarding.
• Follow up on pending items and missing information.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in customer-facing roles.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Accounting experience.
• High proficiency in English (written and spoken).
• Familiarity with CRM and onboarding tools.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Strong problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field.
• Experience in SaaS or technology industries is a plus.
