The Central Business Office (CBO) Specialist II role involves facilitating accurate provider credentialing, coding, billing, posting, and collection for ProMedica Physicians and other supported entities while serving as a liaison between providers and hospitals or payor plans.

In Short

  • Understanding of CPT & ICD-9 (10) coding.
  • Experience with hospital and payor credentialing forms.
  • Full-time position with 40 weekly hours.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 3 years experience in credentialing, registration, billing, or customer service.
  • 2 years specific experience in credentialing and/or billing office work.
  • Detailed understanding of CPT & ICD-9 (10) coding.
  • Experience reading hospital/physician medical records.
  • Ability to complete hospital and payor credentialing forms.
