CAD Specialist III - Remote

Overview

AECOM’s Water Business Line is seeking a creative and highly motivated telecommute Senior Designer specializing in grading and earthwork design for immediate employment. This is a technical role working with engineers and project managers on a variety of projects within the Dams, Mining and Water Resources markets.

In Short

• Work on heavy civil grading for large mines and dams.
• Produce custom solutions and mentor junior staff.
• Prepare detailed calculation packages for earthwork quantities.
• Experience with Autodesk Civil 3D required.
• Understanding of grading design and surface modeling.
• Data management of survey and client data.
• Work under limited supervision.
• Collaborate with engineers and project managers.
• Field and survey experience is a plus.
• Comprehensive knowledge of industry standards preferred.

Requirements

• BA/BS +4 Years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency.
• Strong technical progression within civil engineering and design.
• Experience with InfraWorks, ReCap, MicroStation, and Revit is a plus.
