Overview

As the IT Epic Analyst II, you are responsible for the design, implementation, maintenance, and support of your assigned non-clinical Epic software applications.

In Short

  • Design and implement non-clinical Epic software applications.
  • Support operational teams across ProMedica.
  • Mentor less experienced IT EMR staff.
  • Plan implementation and upgrade clinical systems.
  • Ensure quality assurance and documentation of changes.
  • Train IT employees and advise end-users.
  • Keep trainers informed of new functions and system changes.
  • Achieve Epic certification within 90 days of the first class.
  • Maintain Epic Certification in primary application.
  • Work full-time on a day shift.

Requirements

  • Associate’s degree or equivalent experience.
  • 3 years of relevant clinical experience.
  • Epic certification in primary application.
  • Preferred: Bachelor’s degree or 3 years experience in IT.
  • 5 – 7 years relevant clinical experience preferred.
