HIM Call Center Representative - Remote

Overview

As the HIM Call Center Representative, you serve as the ambassador and voice for ProMedica’s HIM department and myChart support by providing a positive first impression to our patients. You will effectively communicate the process of obtaining medical records and help myChart users with questions they may have about the app.

• Serve as the voice for ProMedica’s HIM department
• Communicate processes for obtaining medical records
• Assist myChart users with app-related questions
• Record all requests and manage payment processing
• Work on a per diem basis with flexible hours
• High School diploma or equivalent required
• 2 years of relevant experience preferred
• Experience with Epic and/or EMR is a plus
• Salary range from $31,200 to $55,744 per year
• Part of a mission-driven health care organization

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent
• 2 years' experience in health information management or related fields
• Associate degree in Health Information Management preferred
• Current enrollment in a CAHIIM approved program is a plus
• Previous experience with Epic and/or EMR
• Strong communication skills
