Overview

The Technical Support Associate role provides essential technical assistance and administrative support to healthcare providers and corporate employees remotely, focusing on customer support for electronic health record systems.

In Short

  • Respond to inquiries via email, phone, and other channels.
  • Assist users with basic technical issues related to software and connectivity.
  • Handle password resets and account unlock requests.
  • Provide administrative support for EHR systems.
  • Give clear instructions to users for resolving technical issues.
  • Record user interactions in the ticketing system.
  • Escalate complex technical issues as needed.
  • Maintain information confidentiality per HIPAA regulations.

Requirements

  • High school diploma required; Associate’s degree preferred.
  • 1+ years of experience in customer service or technical support.
  • Familiarity with software applications and operating systems.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to follow procedures and apply problem-solving skills.
  • Adaptability to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Teamwork skills.
  • Understanding of HIPAA rules and regulations.
