Overview

The Epic Analyst Associate is responsible for configuring programs, supporting internal customers, and maintaining databases for applications in a healthcare setting.

• Configures programs and pathways to meet user specifications.
• Supports I/S Epic Analysts with technical assistance.
• Maintains system hardware and software for supported applications.
• Provides analysis of workflow and recommends solutions.
• Coordinates and resolves system problems related to technology.
• Assists in managing system upgrades and small projects.
• Participates in disaster recovery planning.
• Creates training materials for users.
• Ensures data integrity for assigned applications.
• Reports to a supervisor or manager.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Information Services or related field.
• Experience in a business, computer science, or healthcare setting preferred.
• EPIC module certification required within 6 months of hire.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
• Preferred knowledge of SQL database and project management software.
• Knowledge of healthcare software applications is a plus.
