Overview

The Ambulatory Coder Professional Billing is responsible for validating, reviewing, and assigning medical codes for various healthcare settings, ensuring compliance with coding guidelines and maintaining communication with providers.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Associate degree preferred.
• 2 years of professional coding experience required.
• Knowledge of CPT, ICD-10, and HCPCS coding.
• Familiarity with coding compliance guidelines.
• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proficiency in coding software.
