The Professional Medical Coder II will focus on review of documentation and coding, ensuring accurate coding and claim submission in conformity with applicable guidelines and regulations.

• Minimum two years work experience in a healthcare setting.
• Minimum one year of professional coding experience.
• Certification in relevant coding or health information fields required.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills are essential.
• Flexible hours available.

Requirements

• Working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Strong time management skills.
• Prefer two years work experience in coding/auditing.
• Prefer experience in evaluation and management, procedural/surgical coding.
• Knowledge of the EpicCare system is a plus.
