Medical Coder - Remote

Overview

Theoria Medical is seeking dedicated and detail-oriented individuals to join its Quality Department as Medical Coders. In this role, you will support our billing department by accurately reviewing, assigning, and verifying medical codes for various patient services, ensuring compliance with insurance, federal, and state regulations.

In Short

• Full-time position with a shift from Mon-Fri, 9:00 pm to 5:00 am PST.
• Remote work opportunity based in the Philippines.
• Compensation ranges from Php 45,000 to 50,000 monthly.

Requirements

• Graduate with a BS in Nursing or comparable medical field degree.
• Certified Medical Coder (CPC, CCS, or equivalent).
• At least 2 years of experience in medical coding.
• Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology.
• Experience with RAF/HCC audits preferred.
• Familiarity with coding software and electronic health record (EHR) systems.
• Excellent attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
