Overview

The Market Development Manager is responsible for executing a selling strategy in assigned accounts, managing key customer relationships, and developing strategic account plans for profitable growth.

  • Cultivate strong relationships with customers.
  • Analyze business trends to develop growth strategy.
  • Work across business markets and company departments.
  • Gather intelligence on clients’ business issues.
  • Carry out account management activities.
  • Prepare and execute business plans for accounts.
  • Build and execute sales forecasting and budgeting.
  • Establish and strengthen the Precoat name in the marketplace.

Requirements

  • 5+ years sales experience in manufacturing industry.
  • Coil coating and aluminum industry experience preferred.
  • Previous experience with a CRM system.
  • Proficient in MS Office.
  • Outstanding customer service skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
  • Ability to multi-task and be well organized.
  • Excellent public relations and presentation skills.
  • Works well in a team environment.
  • Solid analytical, technical and problem solving skills.
  • Ability to travel up to 50-75%.
