Associate Director, Accounting - Remote

Overview

The Associate Director, Accounting will manage the General ledger accounting processes, ensure compliance with accounting policies, and act as a Finance Business Partner for the Head of Asia Pacific.

In Short

• Manage General ledger accounting processes for P&L/BS accounts.
• Oversee Treasury and Accounts Payable functions.
• Conduct journal entries and account reconciliations.
• Prepare business level financial reporting and budgets.
• Implement cost management strategies.
• Ensure compliance with local statutory accounting requirements.
• Review audit support and manage audit requests.
• Assist with strategic initiatives and system implementations.
• Train and mentor accounting staff.
• Monitor and implement new GAAP standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance; CPA required.
• 12+ years of relevant experience.
• Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial regulations.
• Proficient in English and Mandarin.
• Good time management and organizational skills.
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills.
• Experience in a Pharma Services or Clinical Research Organization preferred.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships.
• Leadership capabilities with a track record of developing teams.
