Associate Director, Technical Accounting - Remote

Overview

The Associate Director, Technical Accounting oversees Ro’s technical accounting function and serves as a U.S. GAAP subject matter expert to support internal stakeholders.

In Short

• Serve as the Company’s technical accounting expert.
• Perform technical accounting research and respond to inquiries.
• Monitor and implement new accounting standards.
• Interact with external auditors on technical accounting matters.
• Establish and maintain accounting policy documentation.
• Prepare footnote disclosures to ensure compliance.
• Oversee tax policy and administration.
• Lead cross-functional strategic initiatives and projects.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in Big 4 assurance or corporate finance.
• Strong technical accounting and research skills.
• Knowledge of SEC reporting, U.S. GAAP, and SOX compliance.
• Strong project management skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously.
• Proven problem-solving skills in complex environments.
