Construction Assistant Project Manager - Remote

Overview

Burgos Group is seeking a Construction Assistant Project Manager to support multiple federal construction projects being managed out of our New Mexico and New Jersey offices. This position is remote with a minimum of 25% travel to our offices and job sites as needed.

• Assist in leading project development from beginning to end
• Facilitate team and client meetings
• Communicate regular status with the Project Team
• Manage daily operational aspects of a project
• Track and report on project milestones and budget
• Identify necessary resources to complete projects
• Minimum 2 years construction work experience required
• Must be able to pass a Federal background check

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or related field preferred
• Experience in estimating and managing subcontracted work
• Knowledge of standard commercial construction practices
• Experienced with Microsoft Project or other scheduling software
• Ability to read plans
• Must be a US citizen
