VP of Sales – Exciting Opportunity in Food Tech / Restaurant Automation / Climate Tech

If you live and breathe enterprise sales, we need to talk. We’re looking for a “Player-Coach” who will have responsibility for leading the sales and business development activities of our enterprise solution to large multi-site foodservice brands and retailers across North America as well as internationally.

In Short

  • Develop strategies relating to PhD’s market, products, services, and sales goals.
  • Perform day-to-day oversight and management of the sales team.
  • Set and manage sales budget.
  • Track, analyze and present sales metrics to PhD and Middleby leadership.
  • Facilitate current client relationships and work to grow new ones.
  • Analyze market trends and plan sales strategies accordingly.
  • Develop and manage pipeline and forecast and consistently achieve new business.
  • Build relationships with key customer and prospect executives (C-Level) and Departmental Managers.
  • Stay current on PhD’s products, technology, and sales processes.
  • Drive best sales practices across the team.

Requirements

  • Successful and proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales goals with technology-enabled enterprise products and services.
  • Robust leadership abilities and an innovative, entrepreneurial attitude.
  • Willing and able to both close sales individually (“Player”) as well as lead team to closing their own deals (“Coach”).
  • Familiarity with CRM platforms, preferably Salesforce.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Knowledge of Software as a Service (SaaS) and strong familiarity with web applications.
