Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) - Remote

Overview

REPAY is a fast-growing, publicly traded fintech company offering modern payment solutions like credit/debit processing, ACH, instant funding, and mobile bill pay. We’re hiring an experienced Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) to help expand our core payment platform. In this role, you'll develop testing tools, improve test coverage, and act as a subject matter expert within a small, agile team.

In Short

• Developing and supporting code for a homegrown test harness/framework.
• Working with other Quality team members to ensure high quality releases.
• Developing automated test solutions for various testing types.
• Analyzing test failures and reporting detailed bugs.
• Assisting in supporting CI/CD pipelines.
• Providing mentoring on Quality principles.
• Evaluating new technologies for best practices.
• Providing Quality related metrics and presentations.

Requirements

• Several years of application development and testing.
• Experience with multiple programming languages and databases.
• Scripting experience in Bash and PowerShell.
• Strong Quality fundamentals and best practices.
• Knowledge of various testing types including Web UI and API.
• Understanding of Martin Fowler’s Test Pyramid.
• Experience with testing highly available systems.
• Strong understanding of application security.
• Ability to see larger business goals.
• Experience with developing test data solutions.
