Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Payroll Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for processing and managing the payroll for our employees across multiple states, ensuring accurate and timely compensation, and maintaining compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.

• Process and calculate payrolls for full-time employees and 1099 contractors.
• Ensure accuracy and compliance with state-specific payroll tax laws.
• Submit payroll taxes for federal, state, and local jurisdictions.

• Maintain up-to-date employee records.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
• 2-3 years of experience in payroll processing.
• Familiarity with payroll tax laws in multiple states.
• Knowledge of federal, state, and local tax codes.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
