Overview

Portainer is on a mission to simplify container and Kubernetes management for organisations of all sizes. Our software helps users deploy, monitor, and maintain containerised applications seamlessly, enabling them to focus on innovation rather than infrastructure complexities. We are looking for a Product Steward who will champion our product vision, serve as the internal “product owner,” and lead the product management function to drive our platform’s continued success.

In Short

• Develop and communicate a clear product roadmap.
• Balance standardisation vs. customisation in product development.
• Leverage IT Infrastructure Operations experience for product insights.
• Stay informed about trends in Kubernetes and DevOps.
• Gather feedback from enterprise customers for product improvements.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Sales, and Marketing teams.
• Present product updates to various audiences.
• Produce documentation and thought leadership pieces.

Requirements

• Experience in product management or related field.
• Strong understanding of Kubernetes and DevOps practices.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work cross-functionally with various teams.
• Experience in IT Infrastructure Operations is a plus.
