Business Analyst II - Remote

Overview

The Porch Group is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Business Analyst II to support and optimize finance and accounting operations using NetSuite ERP.

In Short

• Support finance and accounting operations of NetSuite ERP.
• Lead requirement gathering sessions with stakeholders.
• Document business processes and improvement opportunities.
• Translate business requirements into functional specifications.
• Collaborate with developers and vendors for NetSuite enhancements.
• Manage stakeholder expectations and project lifecycles.
• Support financial operations including month-end close.
• Ensure alignment throughout project lifecycles.
• Manage the roadmap and product backlog.
• Act as a liaison between accounting and finance teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• At least 4 years of experience in business analysis.
• 3 years working directly with an ERP system like NetSuite.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles.
• Proven experience in requirement gathering and documentation.
• Knowledge of SOX compliance is helpful.
• NetSuite Administrator certification is a plus.
• Experience in Agile project environments.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
