Overview

Poliigon is seeking an experienced Material Artist with a proven track record of creating realistic, production-ready procedural textures in Substance Designer.

• Create high-quality, tiling procedural materials in Substance Designer.
• Convert photogrammetry scans into production-ready, seamless PBR textures.
• Ensure materials capture micro details such as surface imperfections.
• Adapt textures for different Metal/Rough workflow.
• Collaborate in weekly meetings, providing clear updates.
• Integrate feedback through the review pipeline.
• Self-manage tasks and consistently meet deadlines.

Requirements

• Strong portfolio demonstrating procedural texture creation in Substance Designer.
• Deep understanding of PBR principles.
• Keen eye for surface micro-details.
• Experience preparing photoscanned textures.
• Basic navigation skills in Blender or similar 3D applications.
• Ability to evaluate strengths/limitations of different workflows.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Ability to collaborate across time zones.
• Reliable, fast internet for uploading/downloading assets.
