Overview

The Materials Specialist will serve as a primary point of contact for manufacturers pursuing Declare labels, providing technical support and guidance while ensuring adherence to program requirements.

• Full-time, exempt position reporting to the Senior Manager, Materials.
• Remote position based in the United States.
• Provide customer service for manufacturers pursuing Declare labels.
• Review submitted documentation for compliance with program requirements.
• Support sales and program development efforts.
• Track success stories and customer feedback.
• Utilize project management tools like Asana and Salesforce.
• Collaborate with team members to improve program effectiveness.
• Maintain the database of Declare labels.
• Support the growth of Living Future's sustainability programs.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of customer service experience.
• Excellent time-management and prioritization skills.
• Meticulous attention to detail.
• Experience in sales or business development.
• Knowledge of product sustainability issues.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
• Familiarity with Google Workspace and project management systems.
• Desire to learn about material sustainability.
• Experience in the building products manufacturing sector is a plus.
