Software Engineer - Remote

Overview

We’re looking for a software engineer to join our public facing API’s team, working closely with product teams, architects, and other engineers to support and improve one of the most critical systems in our platform.

In Short

• Build and maintain Node.js/TypeScript APIs that support multiple applications
• Help break down a high-maintenance monolith into more modular, scalable components
• Contribute to cross-cutting initiatives like improving system observability, authentication, and stability
• Write tests, review code, and participate in sprint planning and refinement sessions
• Own features from planning through release in a collaborative and supportive team environment

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in software development
• Strong knowledge of API Architecture Best Practices
• Proficiency in Node.js, TypeScript, and JavaScript in general
• Solid understanding of REST APIs, integration patterns, and service communication
• Experience with relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL)
• Clear communication and willingness to work closely with other teams
• Measuring and Improving API Performance
• Log aggregation and analysis
