Senior Fund Accountant - Remote

Overview

Point is searching for a Senior Fund Accountant responsible for the accounting, reporting, and fund administration oversight of the firm’s credit and debt investment funds, partnering closely with fund administrators, auditors, and custodians to ensure accurate, GAAP-compliant reporting.

In Short

• Oversee all aspects of fund accounting and fund administration for credit and debt vehicles.
• Prepare and review fund financial statements and investor capital account summaries.
• Reconcile loan and investment portfolios to administrator and custodian records.
• Review management fees, carried interest, and investor allocations.
• Coordinate with fund administrators and auditors for timely reporting.
• Support quarterly and annual audit processes.
• Analyze fund-level and portfolio-level performance.
• Participate in process improvements and system enhancements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required; CPA preferred.
• 4+ years of experience in fund accounting and fund administration.
• Experience with SEI, SS&C, and NetSuite ERP required.
• Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP and fund structures.
• Familiarity with fund administration oversight and investor reporting.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Proven ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
