Senior Accountant - Remote

Overview

The Senior Accountant will be responsible for managing the monthly management accounts, bookkeeping, and collaborating with the finance team to drive impact in a remote working environment.

In Short

• Preparation of monthly management accounts including P&L, Balance Sheet, and Cashflow forecasts.
• General bookkeeping responsibilities including processing invoices and bank reconciliations.
• Assist in budget and forecasting processes.
• Coordinate with external accounting offices.
• Support shop staff with administrative tasks.
• Fluent in Polish and intermediate English required.
• 3-5 years of experience in accounting, preferably in retail.
• Strong Excel skills and knowledge of accounting software.
• Flexible and able to work autonomously.
• Excellent communication skills.

Requirements

• Business degree focused on Finance & Controlling or equivalent qualifications.
• Experience with the Polish Accounting Act and related tax regulations.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Navision, Nova, or Sage.
• Hands-on mentality with attention to detail.
• Ability to thrive in a changing business environment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Fluent in Polish and intermediate English.
• 3-5 years of accounting experience in a relevant field.
• Open to learning new tools and technologies.
