Senior Accountant - Remote

Overview

Our esteemed client, Ultra Precise Accounting (UPA) is growing! They are seeking a well-rounded Senior Accountant to support a portfolio of client accounts in a remote, multi-client environment. This role is ideal for an accountant who has strong fundamentals in accrual accounting and GAAP, is comfortable working independently, and has prior experience in an accounting or bookkeeping firm.

In Short

• Perform full-cycle accounting tasks including transaction coding and reconciliations.
• Support month-end close processes for multiple client accounts.
• Prepare and review financial reports including P&L and Balance Sheet.
• Ensure financial records are accurate and GAAP-aligned.
• Identify discrepancies and resolve issues in a timely manner.
• Manage workload across multiple client engagements simultaneously.
• Communicate clearly with internal team members regarding deadlines and priorities.
• Work primarily in QuickBooks Online (QBO).
• Contribute to process improvements and documentation.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
• Strong working knowledge of accrual accounting and GAAP.
• At least 2 years of experience in a multi-client environment.
• At least 2 years of experience working remotely.
• Hands-on experience using QuickBooks Online.
• Ability to work independently and manage deadlines.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to provide at least one professional reference from a direct supervisor.
