Overview

The Solution Architect at Pluralsight is responsible for guiding clients in transforming their tech workforce skills through the presentation of Pluralsight’s Skill platform, acting as a trusted advisor throughout the sales process.

In Short

• Develop and deliver product demonstrations to enterprise executives.
• Conduct customer business and solution discovery.
• Own presales components of the value engineering lifecycle.
• Be the expert in Pluralsight’s products for the sales team.
• Manage technical requirements for RFP/RFI proposals.
• Assist in pilot implementations and customer security responses.
• Provide insight to key enterprise deals.
• Collaborate with the sales team on marketing materials.
• Continuously improve through feedback and learning.
• Work in a hybrid setup with remote flexibility.

Requirements

• 3+ years of sales engineering experience, ideally in SaaS.
• BSc in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• Strong interpersonal and operational skills.
• Ability to influence senior-level customer decision makers.
• Familiarity with value engineering and financial justification methodologies.
• Knowledge of software development processes.
• Self-starter with effective time management skills.
• Understanding of SaaS and On-Premise selling structures.
• Familiarity with Git and JIRA.
• Excellent business sense to simplify complex technical subjects.
