Senior Character FX Artist - Remote

Overview

Insomniac is looking for a Senior Character FX Artist responsible for character setups and simulating anatomy, cloth, and hair for both offline and real-time applications, contributing to the design, implementation, and maintenance of the simulation and CFX pipeline.

• Create high-quality simulation setups for game characters and cinematic sequences.
• Develop AAA quality character simulations for various features.

Requirements

• Experience in character setup and simulation setup.
• Expert knowledge of simulation systems like Houdini/Vellum and nCloth.
• Strong knowledge of shot-finaling techniques.
• Understanding of physical anatomy for realistic deformations.
• Experience with runtime simulation systems.
• Strong knowledge of Maya and scripting languages.
• Basic knowledge of DOS.
