Overview

The Customer Success Manager at Planet will manage and expand relationships with customers in the agriculture, insurance, and energy sectors, helping them maximize the value of Planet’s geospatial solutions.

In Short

  • Manage and expand customer relationships in commercial markets.
  • Maximize customer value from Planet’s imagery and geospatial solutions.
  • Facilitate training and onboarding for customers.
  • Act as the voice of the customer for internal teams.
  • Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to support customer needs.
  • Identify expansion opportunities within existing accounts.
  • Communicate effectively with international customers.
  • Travel as needed for customer engagement.
  • Advocate for product enhancements based on customer feedback.
  • Work independently with a proactive approach.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience in Customer Success or account management.
  • Knowledge of remote sensing, GIS, or geospatial imagery products.
  • Excellent technical background in remote sensing platforms.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
  • Ability to partner with global companies on innovative technologies.
  • Experience in earth observation and related fields.
  • Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
  • Willingness to travel.
